Crazy Lixx Announce New Album with a Single Aimed at American Youth

Swedish hard rockers Crazy Lixx, members of the so-called Big Four of Swedish Sleaze, are back after a two-year studio break following their fantastic album Forever Wild, which ranked fifth on our list of the best albums of 2019. Now, they are unleashing a new hard rock barrage in the form of their latest single, “Anthem For America.”

The song will be featured on their seventh studio album, titled Street Lethal, which is set for release on November 5 this year. Just like their previous album, this one will also be released through the Italian label Frontiers Records.

According to frontman Danny Rexon, “Anthem For America” is a call to action for American youth to return to rock music, which they have distanced themselves from in recent decades. By paying homage to their idols from the ’80s and ’90s, Crazy Lixx demonstrate that rock is still alive today and urge their peers from the birthplace of the genre to make America a rock powerhouse once again.

Alongside Danny Rexon, the band’s lineup includes guitarists Chrisse Olsson and Jens Lundgren, bassist Jens Anderson, and drummer Joel Cirera.

Whether this single will inspire Americans to reignite their passion for rock music remains uncertain. However, what is important for us is the possibility of bringing such bands to our region, something that has unfortunately been overlooked for years.
