Alice Cooper Reveals New Album Is Inspired by Life on Tour
Rock legend Alice Cooper has announced that he will be releasing two albums this year, with one of them titled “Road.” In an interview with SiriusXM host Tommy London on Hair Nation, Cooper revealed that the upcoming album features his touring band, including guitarists Ryan Roxie and Nita Strauss, bassist Chuck Garric, and drummer Glen Buxton.
Cooper also shared that the album was recorded with very few overdubs, as he wanted to showcase the tightness of the band’s live sound. He encouraged each member to contribute their own songs, resulting in an “in-house” writing process. Renowned producer Bob Ezrin was behind the production of the album, which Cooper describes as a “great guitar-driven rock and roll album.”
According to Cooper, the songs on “Road” are mostly inspired by life on tour, with some lighthearted tracks as well as a few heartbreakers. He promises that listeners will get a true sense of what it’s like to be on the road when they hear the album.
While Cooper was tight-lipped about the details of the second album, he did confirm that it is also ready for release. Fans can expect to hear more from the iconic rocker this year, with two new albums showcasing his musical talent and creativity.

If you are a fan of older Alice Cooper shows, you should check out the two videos that were released last month. They feature footage from the legendary “Brutally Live” show at the Hammersmith Apollo in London, which took place in 2000. The videos have been remastered to provide a high-quality viewing experience for fans. Fun fact: The current Alice Cooper guitarist, Ryan Roxie, can also be seen rocking out at this concert.
