Linkin Park ‘Friendly Fire’ -Previously Unheard New Single

Linkin Park recently released a previously unheard song titled “Friendly Fire” on Friday, February 22. The track features vocals by the late Chester Bennington and is part of their upcoming album, “Papercuts,” set to be released on April 12, 2024. The song was originally recorded during the band’s 2017 album sessions for “One More Light” but was not included in the final release. The music video for “Friendly Fire” includes unseen studio and live footage and was directed by Mark Fiore, a long-time collaborator of the band.

The upcoming album will contain a total of 20 tracks, including well-known songs like “Crawling,” “In The End,” and “Numb,” along with this newly unveiled track. Linkin Park has been mostly on hiatus since 2017 but has periodically released unreleased tracks featuring Chester Bennington’s vocals as tributes to the late singer. Fans can pre-order or pre-save the album ahead of its release.
