The Hellacopters Release Unexpected New Single “Stay With You”
Swedish rockers The Hellacopters have released a brand new single and , “Stay With You.” This is the first new song from The Hellacopters camp after the release of “Eyes Of Oblivion” album back in April of 2022.
Alongside the new song they also released a video. “Stay With You” is available as a limited edition 7” single through Lightning Records. Fans will also enjoy a special treat on the B-side, which features a cover of The Cure’s classic “Fire In Cairo.”
Nicke Andresson explained the decision to release the unexpected single: “We’re in the middle of recording our new full-length album which has no date of release just yet. In the meantime, we’re very excited about the release of our new single ‘Stay With You’. It was originally intended to be included on the upcoming LP but we decided to do a Beatles and release it as a stand-alone track with a B-side. ‘Stay With You’ is a straight-up minor key rocker and it’s backed with our interpretation of The Cure’s ‘Fire In Cairo’. We hope you dig.”
