This unique feature is made possible by utilizing original voice samples from Lemmy’s private, unpublished archives, including interviews and rare recordings. The project has been developed in close collaboration with Motörhead’s band members.

Brendan Blewett, the audio director of World of Tanks Modern Armour, emphasized the importance of authenticity in creating Lemmy’s voice emulation, ensuring it captures the sole essence of the legendary frontman.

The Metal Fest DLC is part of a broader trend where World of Tanks Modern Armour has previously featured music legends like Megadeth’s Vic Rattlehead and Iron Maiden’s mascot Eddie. This year’s event, which runs from July 30 to August 20, promises three weeks of intense action packed with exclusive content.

For fans of heavy metal and intense tank battles, the Metal Fest DLC is a can’t-miss event. The inclusion of Lemmy Kilmister, Rob Zombie, and Warpig adds a unique flavor to the game, merging the worlds of music and warfare in an unforgettable way. With past offerings from Iron Maiden, Megadeth, and Sabaton also making a return, players will have the opportunity to collect a range of “seriously cool” cosmetic items and goodies. Get ready to rock the battlefield and immerse yourself in the ultimate metal warfare experience!
