Dorothy Returns with Explosive New Single “MUD”
Los Angeles rock star Dorothy is back, bringing her signature style and powerful vocals to the forefront once again. Her latest single, “MUD,” produced by Scott Stevens, known for his work with HALESTORM, SHINEDOWN, and NOTHING MORE, is the first taste of new music from this Billboard-charting artist. “MUD” is a raw and unforgettable track that showcases Dorothy’s full-bodied vocal power, complemented by heavy-hitting instrumentation and plenty of riffs.
The song features a hearty mix of the blues-infused rock that fans have come to love from her previous albums, with an added country twist unique to Dorothy’s style. Describing the single, Dorothy says, “Our first single off this record is an amalgamation of hard rock, metal, and country tied together with a trap beat and spicy, heavily layered vocals. It was also my first time attempting a scream — proud of that.”
In conjunction with the release of “MUD,” Dorothy launched a new webstore, offering exclusive merchandise for pre-order. Fans who signed up received an exclusive first listen to the single a day before its official release. Details about Dorothy’s forthcoming fourth studio album will be announced soon.
Dorothy, born in Budapest, Hungary, has accumulated over one billion global streams throughout her career.
