Unexpected: Velvet Revolver Drops A New Song On Their Streaming Platform Profiles?

Posted on July 19, 2024May 3, 2025 By JP

Velvet Revolver released a song this Friday, July 19th! Yes, you heard it right. A look at Spotify’s release radar this Friday morning led me to a bit of confusion – the epic black cover with the lady and the words “Fall To Pieces Acoustic”…

Ok, bands do these things. It’s common to see a bunch of extra releases on streaming platforms from existing and non-existing bands. Velvet Revolver is certainly one of them, and the one I least expected to see on my Release Radar feed these days. But here it is. Who did it? Was it a label, or did one of the remaining members want this? Could this be an intro to some anniversary release since the original album was released 20 years ago back in 2004? I really don’t know, yet. Maybe we will find out. Until then, enjoy the acoustic version of one of their biggest songs!

Update – Here is an update that came out later same day, and it’s about the release from the man himself!
