Inside the World of Dogma: Metal’s Most Mysterious New Band

We have always been on the lookout for new and interesting bands here at Junkyard. Our radar is on 24/7, and everything that passes through it is noted down and ready to be introduced to you. Of course, what is new to us may not be new to some of you, but the world of our rock and metal music is vast, so we need to explore and maintain it together.

So, here is something new, mysterious, enigmatic and sinister that we really want to share with you. In the old magazine-style writing, we present to you the band, the cult, the mystery; we present you – Dogma.

Dogma

WHO ARE THEY: Four women united by melody, ideology, chaos and blasphemy. They are Lilith (vocals), Lamia (guitars) , Nixie (bass) and Abrahel (drums). Their true identities are to this day – unknown. They can be a band, a cult or maybe just a way of life? Dogma is one of the greatest mystery in our metal world right now. Their place of existence is also unknown but one theory says they are from a cursed ruins of a former monastery somewhere in South America… Formed in 2021

WHAT DO THEY SOUND LIKE: An interesting blend of occult Ghost-like melodic hard rock with hints of NWOBHM (New Wave of British Heavy Metal) as well as a shock rock glam vibe. This fusion, with elements of Satanism and the occult, will captivate you instantly, whether you want it to or not. For the fans of: Ghost, Burning Witches, Alice Cooper, In This Moment.

WHAT HAVE THEY RELEASED SO FAR: They released one full length album Dogma in 2023, along with a several singles from it accompanied with breathtaking videos. The album comes with eleven songs and we dared to review it here….

WHAT ARE THEIR BIGGEST HITS: Definitely “Father I Have Sinned”, “Forbidden Zone”, “Made Her Mine” and “My First Peak”.

WHAT’S THEIR VIBE: If you decide to join Dogma’s cult, you’ll get the all-female counterpart to Ghost, with four seductive but evil nuns singing about their anti-religion sinful sexual deeds. It’s cheesy, it’s easy, but it’s fun and never leaves anyone indifferent.Weather it is a band, a cult, a sect, or something else, it is up to you to come closer and join in at your own risk…
