Glam Punk Legends Peppermint Creeps Are Back With New Music

Posted on November 26, 2024November 26, 2024 By JP

The glam punk legends from Los Angeles, Peppermint Creeps, are making noise again! Over the past two days, two killer tracks surfaced on their official YouTube channel. First up is a fiery cover of the Misfits classic “Forbidden Zone”, followed by their spin on Hanoi Rocks’ “Boulevard of Broken Dreams”. Rumor has it these tracks are just the beginning of something big—a forthcoming release titled Cover Up 2: Regurgitated.

What makes this release extra special? These new songs feature Macy Malone on guitar and vocals, Billy Blade on bass, and drum samples from none other than the late, great Traci Michaelz, the Creeps’ legendary drummer who tragically passed in 2008. This marks the first new music from the band since their 2009 album In Hell! Before that, they blessed the scene with Animatron X (2002), We R The Weirdoz (2005), and Cover Up (2008).

For those of you who were on MySpace back in the day, you’ll remember the Peppermint Creeps ruling the glam playlists, their neon green-and-pink aesthetic defining an era of sleaze-infused rebellion. Their most recent live appearance was in March 2024 at Whiskey A Go Go with another glam punk legends Foxxy Roxx, following a handful of shows over the past few years.

Now, with Cover Up 2: Regurgitated on the horizon, the Creeps are proving that their green star still shines bright. Stay tuned and get ready to crank up the volume—glam punk is alive and kicking and we will get you all the updates!
