AXL ROSE and Sheila Kennedy have reached a private settlement following Kennedy’s lawsuit alleging sexual assault in 1989. Rose continues to deny the allegations, stating, “As I have from the beginning, I deny the allegations. There was no assault.” The terms of the settlement have not been disclosed. Rose’s lawyer, E. Danya Perry, confirmed that the case has concluded.

MICHAEL MONROE has postponed his shows in Helsinki and Tampere after breaking ribs during a performance at Planet Rockstock 28th Nov – 1st Dec. Doctors have advised a recovery period of six weeks. Tickets for the original dates will be valid for the rescheduled shows, with refunds available for those unable to attend.

WILDSTREET’S first two albums, Wildstreet and Wildstreet II …Faster …Louder!, are reissued by Eonian Records on Friday, December 6, as a double CD package titled Origins. Led by frontman Eric Jayk, the band includes Wrathstarz on guitars, Kevin Scarf on bass, and D.D. Starr on drums. The reissue will feature all tracks from the original albums, the previously unreleased track “Easy Does It,” rarities, updated artwork, lyrics, and unseen photos documenting the band’s history.

ELECTRIC FLARE MAGAZINE Volume Two, Issue Two is now available, featuring interviews with Lady Strange, Wildstreet, Eyebolt and more.

BABYLON A.D. have released their fourth single, Face of God, from their new studio album Rome Wasn’t Built in a Day. Previous singles like “Wrecking Machine” reached #2 on the Mediabase Daily Classic Rock chart and #36 on the Mediabase 7-Day Classic Rock chart, while Rome Wasn’t Built in a Day peaked at #3 and #33, respectively.

W.E.T. have returned with their new single Believer, now available via Frontiers Music Srl. Guitarist Erik Mårtensson shared that the song was written with Jeff Scott Soto and Robert Säll. The acronym W.E.T. stands for Work of Art (Robert Säll and Andreas Passmark), Eclipse (Erik Mårtensson and Magnus Henriksson), and Talisman (Jeff Scott Soto). For the first time, Talisman drummer Jamie Borger has joined the group’s core lineup, adding a new dynamic to the rhythm section.

STOLEN PRAYER, Kentucky glam rockers, have released a new EP titled Stolen Prayer II on December 6. The EP features three new tracks: (Save Me) Swamp Song, Move On You and Lover. The band shared their excitement about the release, stating, “Hard launch, harder riffs. We are back and better than ever.”

JRS – we were wondering what happened with these guys. They have released a single last year called Electric Lover and SP EP vol. I three years ago. It’s good to have them back!

NETFLIX has unveiled all the episode titles for the final season of Stranger Things, marking the anniversary of Will Byers’ disappearance on November 6, 1983. The fifth season, set in autumn 1987, takes place four years after Will’s original vanishing and promises “big reveals,” according to creators Matt and Ross Duffer. The new tagline for the season reads, “In the fall of 1987, one last adventure begins.” While plot details remain under wraps, the episode titles offer a mix of potential hints and cryptic teasers. The episodes are titled: “The Crawl,” “The Vanishing Of…,” “The Turnbow Trap,” “Sorcerer,” “Shock Jock,” “Escape From Camazotz,” “The Bridge,” and “The Rightside Up.” The fifth and final season of Stranger Things will premiere in 2025.

JRS: Since it’s 1987 all over again – are we going we see some hair glam anthem played in the series this time? Guns ‘N’ Roses, Def Leppard, Whitesnake, maybe some Bon Jovi or Posion? We’ll see but it would be nice since it’s the heyday of hair glam music!

VELVET RUSH, a German rock band featuring Sandra Lian on vocals, Dennis Henning on guitar, Tim Black on bass, and Tom Zeschke on drums, have released a video for their latest single, Fire Spirit The band is known for its explosive mix of ’70s-inspired rock infused with modern hard rock vibes, capturing the attention of fans and critics alike.

INGLORIOUS – UK hard rockers have announced their musical comeback for 2025 in a post titled “New Music Is On The Way”, shared by their record label, Frontiers Records. The band’s last album, Heroine, was released in 2022.

CRASHDÏET, CRAZY LIXX, THE CRUEL INTENTIONS, TOXIC ROSE, and SMOKING SNAKES have announced the Mayhem Rock Festival tour in the UK for May 2025. The bands will perform from the 16th to the 18th of May in London, Nottingham, and Wakefield, with the lineup changing each night.

JRS: Can we have this here in Scandinavia like a full tour? Please!

CRAZY LIXX have released a brand-new UST video for their single Little Miss Dangerous, which was originally released in October. The track will be featured on their upcoming album, Thrill of the Bite, set to be released on February 14, 2025. The video includes footage from 1987 sci-fi action movie ‘The Hidden’, starring Michael Nouri, Kyle MacLachlan and 80s bombshell Claudia Christian.

BULLETBOYS have announced tour dates for 2025 following the return of original bassist Lonnie Logan. Frontman Marq Torien also revealed that the band has hired a new guitarist, Jake Faun, who previously played with David Lee Roth.

BLACKBOARD JUNGLE’s annual reunion show lineup was recently revealed. Along with them as hosts, the 2025 reunion show, which takes place at the legendary Viper Room in Hollywood, will also include Prophets Of Addiction, Swingin’ Thing, Old Man Crawford, and Alley Cats LV. The show will take place on June 3rd, according to DDR Music Group.

JRS: Really need that teleport machine just for this show every year!

GUNS N ROSES have announced their 2025 Tour acceoss Europe and Middle East. The tour, titled “Because What You Want & What You Get Are Two Completely Different Things”, will feature special guests Public Enemy, Rival Sons, and the Sex Pistols with Frank Carter on select dates. The run kicks off on May 23 at Riyadh Kingdom Arena and wraps up on July 31 at Germany’s Wacken Festival.

JRS: Guns have also confirmed that after 15 years the band will play in Belgrade, Serbia at Ušće Park on July 18th. Tickets are available from December 13th. It’s really nice to see them back in my homeland after that 2010 concert.
