LA Guns have announced their US “Lucky MFr Tour,” which kicks off on December 27 in Highland, CA, and runs until May 24, with the final show in Denver. This leg of the tour will see the band promoting their upcoming album Leopard Skin, set to be released in early April. The following message from the band’s Facebook page reads:“In support of our new record Leopard Skin, we will be touring heavily next year. Here is the first leg of the tour dates. Album will be released in the beginning of April. Come and join us on The Lucky MF’r Tour!” Phil Lewis also talked about the album: “A very different style album for us but that’s always been our nature. It’s sleezy, funny, thoughtful, sad, heavy and a little weird too. The full immersive experience.”
JRS: Hopefully what Phil is saying is true, cause the last two albums were just naah.
SUICIDE BOMBERS announced their first UK tour ever. Tour starts on May 22nd in Bridtol and the 9-date run will culminate at the Call Of The Wild Festival and feature support from CONTINENTAL LOVERS and TRENCH DOGS. The band has promised to share ticket links as they become available, but tickets can already be purchased at select venues. Fans have been asking for this tour for years, and SUiCiDE BOMBERS are ready to deliver their explosive rock ‘n’ roll to the UK audience. Don’t miss it!
CLASSLESS ACT are back in the studio: “We took a little break here but promise it was for a good reason,” begins a year-end update from Classless Act. “We’ve officially begun tracking some new music! We’ve still got a lot of work to do after the holidays but it feels so good to be back in the studio,” continues the Los Angeles based rock band. “Get ready for 2025 because we’re ready to make it our best year yet. Sending lots of holiday love to you all.”
WICKED, The New York-based rockers, featuring frontman Chad Michael, bassist Danny, guitarist Scotty V, and drummer Gunnar, released the high-energy video for a song “Reptile Roots” as a fan-favorite from their live shows. To celebrate, the band played a hometown show on December 13 at LUX in Rochester, NY, and will kick off 2025 with a performance at Anaheim’s House of Blues on January 23, alongside Metal Allegiance, Ottto, and Lost Legacy. With no plans of slowing down, WICKED promises to bring reckless fun back to rock ‘n’ roll as they head into the new year.
WILDNESS, The Swedish rockers, featuring lead vocalist Erik Forsberg, bassist Marcus Sjösund, guitarists Adam Holmström and Pontus Sköld, and drummer Erik Modin, released the track as the second single “Broken Heart” from their upcoming studio album Avenger. The album is set to drop on January 24, 2025, via Frontiers Music Srl, promising more of the band’s signature melodic rock sound.
CRINGE!
Oh man, what are you doing, David? In his newest video, David Coverdale appeared dressed as Santa to answer some fan questions. The “presents” he mentioned would be the three remastered albums he released this year: Whitesnake (1977), Northwinds (1978), and Into the Light (2000). I guess. Whatever, man. This screams cringe all over. Can’t imagine next he will be remastering….
THE DIRT
And you thought I was going to talk about the biggest news on musical side of internet right now, provided by his wife, the fact that he is taking a bath once a week? Wrong! Extremely wrong. You don’t read Junkyard that often do you really?
However, the dirt story of this Sleaze Mayhem indeed goes to Tommy Lee. After Searching through the depths of internet history today in 2024, almost 2025, I gotta say I really appreciate that some people manage to preserve a decent chunk of it. In one of those sessions, I landed on a Metal Sludge page from 1999, yes people, with a list of 10 reasons why Tommy Lee REALLY left Mötley Crüe back then.
You know, he left the band back than and went pursuing solo career, which resulted with probably the best album in all rock n roll history called Never A Dull Moment… yeah, whatever. Anyway, If you’ve ever wondered what were the REAL reasons why that happened, than this list will tell you all; and blow your mind with how hilarious—or maybe even true—it is. Who knows?
Was it because of the jail time, or was Mick Mars really scaring his and Pam’s children. I don’t know, just check out the list and remember – this was and still is A JOKE list.
