Martin Sweet: “New Crashdiet Album Is Almost Done – And It’s A Sleazy One”

Crashdiet guitarist Martin Sweet recently dropped big and exciting news in an interview with TotalRock. The band’s new album is almost done, with recording wrapping up after sessions began in February last year. What’s left is mixing and choosing a label.

“It’s a sleazier and rougher album this time,” Martin said, promising big riffs and trademark Crashdïet sound.

This is the update the Crashdïet community has been waiting for—especially since the buzz kicked off when John Elliot stepped in as the new frontman. Ever since his debut with the band, fans have been eager to hear how his voice meshes with the band’s gritty glam-infused sound, and it sounds like they won’t have to wait much longer.

But before we get more info about the album, Crashdïet will hit the UK from May 16–18 as part of the Swedish Invasion Tour alongside Crazy Lixx, The Cruel Intentions, Suicide Bombers, ToxicRose, and Smoking Snakes.
