Guns N’ Roses Live at Wembley – Live Reports
Concert number 18 on the ongoing 2025 Guns N’ Roses World Tour kicks in London, UK at the legendary Wembley stadium. Is there really a need for us to tell you how legendary this place is? The home-ground of the English Football Association and English national team.
Besides sports, this stadium has a history specifically related to Guns N’ Roses. The band played there for the first time on August 21st 1991. Not only that was their first performance at this legendary place, but it is also known in the GnR history as Izzy Stradlin’s last show as a full member of the band.
Mr.Brownstone and My Michelle, played on this concert, ended up on the one Live Era release, while Perfect Crime, Dust N’ Bones, Double Talkin’ Jive and 14 Years for 2022 UYI Box Set. Live and Let was released for the 1991 WMAs.
Next year Guns N’ Roses played two times at Wembley. First as the part of Freddie Mercury tribute show in April of 1992 and then again in June.
In 2006 they played two time at Wembley Arena, since the old Wembley Stadium was under reconstruction.
That brings us to 2025 and band’s return to this holy ground after 33 years. Maybe tonight is the perfect time for some big set-list surprise, or better yet, for a brand new song!
