Fan Poll: 3 Greatest Dogma Songs (So Far…)
All right sinners! We asked you to tell us your three favorite songs by Dogma, and I can tell you we were stunned by the lightning speed with which you responded. The nuns who sent us on this mission are especially pleased with the obedience of their sinners. They sent us with only one task: to answer the age-old question – what are the best Dogma songs of all time?
Jokes aside, welcome to a new fan poll on the Junkyard. You know how this goes already: we ask, you answer, we count, and bring you the results. If you don’t know how it’s done and want to see more, check out some of the previous polls we did for bands like Hardcore Superstar, Faster Pussycat, or Cinderella.

Now, the biggest mystery is: why Dogma? Isn’t it maybe too early for something like this, considering they only have one album in their career? You could say so, but believe us, when the Lilith, Nixie, Abrahel, Rusalka and Lamia stormed into our office and demanded that this poll be made—do you think it was easy to say no? Do you think it was even possible to say no? Yeah….that’s what we thought.
First of all, let’s remind ourselves of the rules. As we already said, Dogma has only one album behind them, so we had to limit your answers to just three songs. The poll also included the singles. This time we skipped asking the question on our own profiles and went straight into the heart of darkness, to the two places where you can find everything you should and shouldn’t about Dogma: the WeAreDogma subreddit and the Dogma Temple Facebook page.
We know not all of you voted. Maybe you didn’t want to or maybe you didn’t see the postt, but the sample we gathered is big enough to get to the truth: what are the three best Dogma songs.
So let’s begin!
3.Father I Have Sinned
And you’d think an encounter between the nuns and the priest was impossible. Well, what can we say, guess again. With our sisters, everything’s possible, especially when it comes to smashing social norms and moral boundaries. Father I Have Sinned is one of the catchiest tracks on Dogma’s debut, the very first one we at Junkyard fell head over heels for. Turns out you felt the same, putting it high up at number 3 on this list.
2.My First Peak
Weather is for pain or for pleasure, corn can definitely be used in many ways. And as far as our nuns concerned, they know this better than anyone. It’s a pivotal moment in every nun’s life, and one of the most important songs on this release. So it’s no surprise it received so many votes.
1.Made Her Mine
To be honest, this song was the biggest surprise on the list of the whole damn poll. You maniacs seem to love Made Her Mine, since you voted this one-on-on nun action as the ultimate Dogma anthem. It’s heavy, it’s fast and furious, with those raging sympho keys that cuts straight trough the chaos. Now kneel, y’all, and bow to your new ruler – Made Her Mine!
Here are more interesting facts from this poll:
- All 13 Dogma songs they released so far got at least 1 vote
- Make Us Proud from the album Dogma got the least number of votes
- Single Like A Prayer got the same number of votes as Make Us Proud
- Even “Madley” that is usually played live got some votes
