Peacemaker Season 2 Episode 5, 6 and 7 – Soundtrack and Easter Eggs Breakdown
The second season of Peacemaker is slowly approaching its long-awaited finale. What will happen to the 11 street kids and whether they’ll succeed in their mission — we won’t reveal, because, just like in some of our previous features, that’s not why we’re here.
We’re here, of course, for the fantastic soundtrack that this series delivers once again in its second season. Since we’re a bit late, here’s a quick rundown of all the songs featured in episodes 5, 6, and 7. There weren’t too many songs overall, so we can go through them all at once.
Episode 5 Soundtrack
In episode 5, we had the band Diemonds, a Canadian rock outfit fronted by vocalist Priya Panda, formed in the mid-2000s. They released three albums during their career, and the song “Ain’t That Kind of Girl” comes from their 2016 album Never Wanna Die. The same episode also featured “November Rain,” which doesn’t really need any commentary, while for the closing scenes James Gunn chose the guys from Chicago, Bad City, and their song from the band’s only album Welcome to the Wasteland (2010).

Episode 6 Soundtrack
In episode 6, we heard the Danish band Pretty Maids and their song “Little Drops of Heaven,” followed by the killer Helloween ballad “Forever and One” from the 1996 album The Time of the Oath. Interestingly, the band was even mentioned in a conversation and a scene between Harcourt and Chris’s brother, where they were called one of the best bands in a parallel universe — right after The Beatles, who are apparently led by Mick Jagger. James wrapped up this phenomenal episode with the thunderous anthem from Swedish metal group Dynazty, taken from their 2020 album The Dark Delight.

Episode 7 Soundtrack
As for episode 7, it also featured a slightly smaller number of songs — among them “Still Pretending” by First Signal, then another Shining track titled “Goretex Weather Report,” and, somewhat unexpectedly, a tune by Vains of Jenna from the album We Can Never Die Vol. 2 — the title track itself.
