Dogma Controversy – The Final Solution or Just Another Chapter of Chaos?

It’s been a little over ten days since the great controversy earthquake that struck the band Dogma. After canceling concerts from their American tour and the departure of three key members, along with a flood of dirt and muck rising to the surface, the situation has been deteriorating day by day.

During all that time, fans on the internet were questioning how all of this happened and why the band that had the potential to stand shoulder to shoulder with the biggest names of the genre fell so low. The management, on the other hand, was issuing empty statements trying to wash the dirt off themselves, after a large number of accusations that came their way, both from current and many former members, as well as those who were part of Dogma only through auditions.

In the meantime, the band Dogma, now with three new members plus Nixie and Abrahel from the old lineup, continued performing around America. First with the help of backing tracks and lip syncing, and then with less and less technological assistance. The fans, as every true fan does, kept questioning every move, every statement, every word related to the band.

Subsequently, we also heard the words of the former members. First, Rusalka revealed even more dirt about her situation, about how she was held at the US border for 48 hours before being kicked out and banned from entering that country. The reason, you guessed it, was the T-shirt she was wearing under the hoodie, as the management said. Yeah, if we were joking.

However, maybe the most interesting, and at the same time positive thing that happened in the past ten days is the newest statement from the three former members Rusalka, Lamia and Lilith, or rather Patri, Amber and Grace, that they will continue to make music – together.

“Lastly we are not finished,” they announced in a message on Instagram. “Therefore, we will continue to work together to bring you music that will make you proud.” Bingo! Following the reactions of fans on the internet these days, we concluded that this was one of the biggest questions. Will the former members unite and make their own project or will they be forever lost in this chaos? After days of anticipation, luckily, we got this first one…

In the end, maybe this is the best solution to the whole Dogma situation. On one side we have the band and the management who are untouchable and who will continue to run their policy as before. One part of the fandom, maybe even new ones who won’t even be aware of everything that happened, will continue to follow the development and work of the Dogma brand. But what about the army of angry and irritated fans who cannot get over all the filth, that we had the chance to see and hear?

After these new events, we can finally say that they will get their satisfaction. Their new Dogma! The Dogma they love, they know and identify with. Bands can wear masks and strive for total anonymity and mystery, but even under those masks there are some other masks. The human ones. Bad or good. And when those are revealed, it’s hard to take them off or put them back on again, depending on which angle you’re looking from.

We at Junkyard, as always, will closely follow the situation. We welcome the new project of Lamia, Rusalka and Lilith. The situation with two Dogmas – hmm, sounds unbelievable but will it be the final solution? All this time we thought the middle name of the Dogma was mystery, but in fact, it was CHAOS.
