5 New Sleaze Metal Tunes You Need To Hear Right Now (Late-January)

It’s the end of January and the moment is perfect to turn up the engines of our Junkyard Sleaze Radar again. What was new on the scene in the past two weeks. Which new sleaze metal tunes you need to hear right?

All right, we know, we know: the songs don’t always need to be sleaze in particular, but they need to satisfy a certain Junkyard quality. All kinds of things try to stick to our radar, but not everything manages to fit our unique and far and wide known Junkyard taste, unlike the cuts you’re about to hear.

This time we gathered 5 interesting sleaze metal and hard rock tunes that we absolutely want you to crank up right now – or add them to you playlists, or however you enjoy your music these days. Everything is as always, Junkyard approved!

In this list we are covering only the second part of the January. If you are interested to see which tunes dominated the list in the beginning of the month, you can check it out on this link.

So, let’s start!

Crashdïet – Satizfacton

Well, nobody does sleaze better than these legendary Swedish misfits. And nobody ever did since the mid 2000s. They will even teach you how to make cocktails these days. All for your – satiZfaction! New album Art Of Chaos incoming May 8th. We have a reaction video too if you please!

Dharma Guns – Scale Of The Universe

The winners of the 2025 Junkyard Awards, Dharma Guns, didn’t try to show us how to make drinking cocktails – instead, they showed us that it’s actually possible to mix power chords, one-note piano, and a bit of Danzig. And they did it all during the cold winter days in the middle of Helsinki! New album incoming in April!

Starbenders – 21st Century (Digital Boy)

Atlanta glam rockers Starbenders have been quite quiet lately. They don’t talk much, they release a lot of new music, and from the sidelines they’re lurking for a chance to mess with your head with their new album The Beast Goes On, which comes out on February 27. This is, by the way, their 10th single. Pay attention to this band. We haven’t forgotten them since that excellent previous release from 2023 – and neither should you.

Gunshine – Goth Girl

Let’s move to Florida now. There is a band there called Gunshine and these guys are proven masters of mixing edgy sleazy riffs with angry and sour melodies. Now the question is: can they top what they did back in 2022 with their debut album? This new tune proves that it might be the case with the second album that is coming out this summer!

Ryan Roxie – Fight Another Day

To conclude this mini list, we have a new Ryan Roxie solo tune Fight Another Day. Ryan Roxie? Yeah, you bet. The guy who is playing with Alice Cooper, and played with Slash, Electric Angels, Dad’s Porno Mag, Casablanca and who knows who else. You don’t really think to miss on this retro 8-bit arcade shenanigan. Do you?
