Sleaze Reloaded: The Cruel Intentions Drop New Album Details

The news we’ve been waiting on for a long time has finally arrived. Oslo sleaze rockers The Cruel Intentions have revealed details of their upcoming album, from which we’ve so far heard only one single, “Beating In My Chest.” We now know the album will be titled All Hail Hypocrisy, named after one of the songs on the record (see track listing).

We also have the release date: May 29, when the album will finally see the light of day via Indie Recordings. As expected, everything will be covered — CD, vinyl, and digital, so pick your weapon of choice. May is shaping up to be a top-tier sleaze rock month this year, especially since we shouldn’t forget that Crashdiet, another heavyweight of the sleaze scene, are also releasing their new album that same month.

And finally, a reminder of our own detective work. You know we love doing that kind of stuff at Junkyard, so last August we tried to decipher the track listing from what was, at the time, an album still in the recording and production phase. How successful we were, or weren’t, you can check out in the video on our YouTube channel.
