Crashdïet Drop “Satizfaction” Video – 7 New Things Noticed

Crashdïet have unleashed the video for their new single “Satizfaction,” now live on YouTube. It dropped a little over two weeks after the single itself hit the streets. So let’s dig in and see what’s cooking in this clip that officially kicks off a brand-new era for the legendary Swedish sleaze rockers. Here are some new things you can actually see in this video, if this is your first time watching Crashdïet.

1. John Elliot – first official song, first official release and first official video with the new frontman. He came from Confess (and still plays with them), replacing Gabriel Keyes.

2.Michael Sweet – behind the drum kit stands Martin’s brother. He’s been in the picture for a while, but this marks his first official recorded strike under the Crashdïet banner. He also plays with sleaze metal horror freaks Toxic Rose.

3.Chris Young – the band also rolls out a new bassist, and this song and video marks his debut in the Crashdïet “jersey”. This is not his first run in the sleaze trenches, since he has his own project Midnight Danger. He replaced Peter London.

4.Visually, the band sticks to the dark sleaze aesthetic we saw on Rust and Automaton. Thick black around the eyes, attitude dialed up and all the necessary sleaze artillery locked and loaded.

5.The barrels – to the delight of the faithful fans the legendary Crashdïet barrels are back, coughing out thick smoke like it’s 2005 all over again.

6.Guitars and stuff – Martin wields his white ESP, while Chris swings a Jackson bass, sporting a T-shirt that screams “Crash Fucking Diet.”

7.Promo – At this point, Chris Young is the main player when it comes to promoting the band. He’s everywhere. On every poster, front and center in band photos, showing us how to make cocktails, and even on the official YouTube thumbnail for this video.

That’s it. The new era has officially begun. Brace yourselves for chaos. And if we missed something, you know the drill guys – let us know asap!
