Touring Without a Drummer, Posting Like Maniacs: VÄIN WILD Refuse to Slow Down
Over in the camp of young British glam metal maniacs VÄIN WILD, things are moving really fast. The band has been keeping busy lately, building momentum as they gear up for their debut album – and now they’ve added more fuel to the fire with a brand-new video for the track Of The Chain, and the other one called Raise The Bar, which quite literally came out while Junkyard was writing this article!
At the same moment young glam rockers announced a tour called the No Sanity Tour, which they will, by all accounts, begin as a trio without a drummer who left the band in early January 2026. However, that might not be the case in the end, since the band used their profiles to invite all interested parties to join them and fill the vacant spot:
We are looking for a skilled, reliable and hard working drummer aged 18-30 located in Hampshire/Surrey (or bordering counties). The look is very important to us but it can be discussed. If you are interested, please send us a DM on Instagram @vainwild or email on vainwild@gmail.com. Please spread the word. Until we find a new drummer, the remainder of the tour will be played with a drum track – no shows will be cancelled due to the lack of drummer so do not worry.
So if you’re interested, get in touch with these guys.
By the way, if you were not aware, VÄIN WILD have been in focus on Junkyard for some time now. We’ve mentioned them several times in episodes on our YouTube channel, and the band also took part in the Junkyard Awards 2025, finishing in a high second place in the Hot New Artists category.
But that’s not all when it comes to this up-and-coming band that started back in 2024, as singer Artem has decided to dive into the “content creation” business (I hate this phrase but I don’t have another one to use), so on Vain Wild’s social feeds you can see him ranking albums and song by well-known bands and everything else related to hair and glam metal.
So, without a drummer, with no sanity or reverse gear, these guys decided to invade your feeds weather you like it or not.
With that being said, the only logical thing left for you is to follow them on their Instagram or YouTube, reach out and maybe start to play with them or argue with Artem, which 80s hair metal band goes into which tier!
