Guns N’ Roses Bring Back “Bad Apples” for First Time Since 1991 in Brazil
Guns N’ Roses performed at the Monsters of Rock festival in São Paulo, Brazil on April 4th, where they included Bad Apples in the setlist for the first time since 1991. The track, originally released on the Use Your Illusion I album, had not appeared in live performances for over three decades, making this its first documented return to the stage in 35 years. Its inclusion stands out as a rare deep cut revival in the band’s modern touring era.
According to the setlist from the show, “Bad Apples” was performed as the 21st song of the night, placed between “Estranged” and “November Rain.” The full setlist also featured a mix of core catalog staples and select rarities, including “Reckless Queen” and “Junior’s Eyes,” both marked as tour debuts, alongside regular fixtures like “Welcome to the Jungle,” “Civil War,” and “Paradise City.” The reappearance of “Bad Apples” represents one of the most notable setlist changes from the band in recent years.
JRS comment: It’s always great to see them taking out a deep of the deepest cuts like Bad Apples. Perfect song for the real fans but we are only wondering what were the “ordinary Karens” doing during this one…
