Dharma Guns Have a New Video But We Found Something Else
Do you remember the Finnish rockers Dharma Guns, who took the title of Best New Band according to the Junkyard audience for 2025? Lately, quite a few interesting pieces of news have been coming from the Helsinki band.
After several great videos and their fantastic sophomore album Scale Of The Universe, which was released in April 2026, Dharma Guns have now released their first acoustic live performance video for the song Devil’s Beat.
The recording was made at their recent show at Bar Loose in the heart of Helsinki, where the band performed completely unplugged, playing songs from both of their albums in a fully unplugged setting.
As for other news, it is worth mentioning that the band recently signed a deal with the well-known label Golden Robot Records, while also launching their own website. Having your own website used to be standard, while today it is a real rarity among bands.
Still, it is not all for nothing. Social media may have taken over, but this way you can still take your time and, without the constant interruption of algorithms, check where your favorite band is getting ready to play, what they are planning and what they are currently working on, as well as some things from their past.
That is how, while checking out the Dharma Guns website, we also found out where they got such a name from, as it was taken from Jack Kerouac’s legendary novel The Dharma Bums. We also found out where the band’s members Pete, Edu, Jussi and Olli were playing before Dharma Guns came into existence in 2024. The list is packed with prominent Finnish bands such as Vanity Ink., Bad Valentines, Plastic Tears, Dead Fun, Turun Romantiikka and many others.
Now it is clear where Dharma Guns got such a unique DNA right from the beginning.
