“Don’t Believe Everything You Read” – Dregen Sets The Record Straight
“And YES, I will play guitar. Actually A LOT of guitar. Don’t believe everything you read,” Dregen wrote the message on his Instagram profile!
The post was shared alongside a video uploaded on October 6, showing the legendary guitarist rehearsing with his new backing band, The Ammunitions, in Buenos Aires as they prepare for the upcoming shows in Argentina and Brazil.
And that is not all, as the footage leaves no room for speculation, showing Dregen in his characteristic position behind the microphone, with a guitar around his neck that he is, of course, playing.
With this post, Dregen seems to be putting an end to speculation about his ability to play guitar following his previous arm injury. The Hellacopters recently announced that he would no longer be a member of the band for precisely that reason.
As far as we’re concerned, we never doubted this would happen. We told you Dregen still had a few cards up his sleeve, and he has just played a strong one!
