Glamitarium Is Back, and Daddy Lawless Has a DIY Flamethrower

The fifth edition of The Glamitarium is here, bringing another round of hair/glam metal news with a good old dose of sleaze. All that thanks to Everything Glam Metal and Big Talk Nation as usual.

In this one, we have Devon Kerr who hosts this episode of The Glamitarium, which opens with the return of Daddy Lawless, who gets interrupted while reading the latest issue of Babes N’ Bands magazine by a WASP (?), which escalates into a full-blown domestic war, with a DIY flamethrower, among other things, taking center stage.

Speaking of news, on the Sleazy Riff Wing, Roxxi Blacc delivers the latest from the scene, including new music from Heyday, Heaven’s Edge, Roxy Red, Wicked and Wasted Wizards, alongside other updates and tributes.

Meanwhile, Digby Robinson takes Big Red Fire Truck into the streets of Sydney for Wild in the Streets, asking people what glam metal means to them. The answers lead to debates about big hair, guitar solos, Mötley Crüe, Warrant, Ratt and Dokken, plus the question of how today’s scene compares to the original ’80s wave

The episode also features D.A.G.E.R. covering W.A.S.P.’s L.O.V.E. Machine and Stiletto Strut taking on Crashdïet’s Riot in Everyone. The music video lineup includes Lockhart, Monroe, Red Ripper, Wild Talk, Stilleto, Lipz, Ready to Strike and Heyday.

Another packed episode for glam metal fans, with familiar names, new discoveries and plenty of opinions about what keeps this incredible scene alive. So, what are you waiting for, go and watch it!
