After Surprise Single, The Hellacopters Announce New Album – Cover Art Revealed
Back in May 2024, The Hellacopters released an unexpected new single, Stay With You. Now, five months later, we finally know the complete intention behind its release. Although the band’s frontman and leader, Nicke Andersson, mentioned at the time that they were working on a full album, we now have the album’s title, release date, and cover.
The album, titled Overdrive, will be released on January 31st on Nuclear Blast Records. This will be the band’s ninth album, following their 2022 comeback record, Eyes of Oblivion, which was released three years prior.
The cover for Overdriver was created by German illustrator Max Löffler, adding even more anticipation to The Hellacopters’ upcoming release. More details on pre-orders and the tracklisting will be announced soon, but that’s not all. With the band’s 30th anniversary coming up in 2025, fans can expect even more surprises as they celebrate this milestone year. So, stay tuned—The Hellacopters might have a few more tricks up their sleeves to keep fans excited and engaged!
