Gypsy Pistoleros Release New Single “Shadow Walker” Ahead of Forthcoming Album
Renegade glam-punk UK rockers Gypsy Pistoleros have unveiled their haunting new single, “Shadow Walker”, the second release from their highly anticipated album Church of the Pistoleros. The single is a poignant narrative of humanity’s destruction of nature, told through the eyes of an immortal Changeling. With a disdain for mankind’s environmental transgressions, the Changeling reflects on the fleeting existence of humanity and the enduring scars left on Earth.
“And so it walked, forever moving through the shadows of eternity,” the lyrics narrate, painting a vivid picture of an ageless observer bound by purpose rather than time. The song captures the essence of Gypsy Pistoleros’ genre-defying sound—a blend of glam punk, Latin rhythms, emo undertones, and operatic grandeur. Only this time, with “Shadow Walker single”, things went heavier than usual, since it is by far the heaviest song this guys released to date.

The album, recorded at the renowned Old Cider Press Studios in Pershore, is produced and co-written by the legendary Dave Draper, whose credits include work with Ginger Wildheart, Nickelback, The Professionals and Terrorvision etc. Draper has described Welcome to the Church of the Pistoleros as “a total monster” and one of the best projects he’s ever worked on.
