Electric Flare Magazine June 2025 Issue is Out – New Sleaze, No Excuses
Independent rock and metal magazine Electric Flare Magazine has just released its newest issue — June 2025, Vol. 2, Issue 5.
Run by editor Emelia Alders, Electric Flare Magazine focuses primarily on 21st-century glam and sleaze rock bands.
In this latest issue, you’ll find interesting Q&As and interviews with bands such as Ready To Strike, Notorious, Wild Tank, Cougar Bam, and more. There are also some exciting polls, including Top 10 Guitarists of 2025 and Top 10 Live Bands.
Additionally, the magazine has announced the launch of its brand-new podcast, Tease the Nation. The first episode is yet to air, but the debut guest will be none other than Bruce Vayn, guitarist of the legendary Sunset Strip sleaze rockers Scarlet Rose.

Support young musicians, but also journalists — because if you don’t, you’re no better than a regular Joe on the internet complaining that he hasn’t heard a single new glam or sleaze band since Cinderella and Poison. But he’s persistent in his claim — which he keeps repeating annoyingly — that nothing new and of quality has come out of this scene since then. Don’t be that guy who thinks glam and sleaze died with hair spray in 1993.
