Beautiful Creatures: What’s New on the Horizon?
Beautiful Creatures: What’s New on the Horizon?
Guitarist Anthony Focx and bassist Kenny Kweens, members of Beautiful Creatures, have announced that they are preparing some new developments for the band. Readers of our site and longtime followers of our work will know that this news is of great significance to us, as Beautiful Creatures is one of our editor’s favorite bands.
The duo recently shared a post on social media featuring a picture from the studio, stating that they have been digging into the “vault” and are working hard. What could it be?

In recent years, many bands have used the phrase “something from the vault” when preparing to release older material in a fresh way. So, what’s left? A never-before-released third album seems unlikely, making it more probable that this is either a live album or perhaps a reissue of their debut album, which will celebrate its 20th anniversary on August 16. The latter seems like the most plausible option, but we’ll have to wait and see. More details will be revealed in the coming period.
Beautiful Creatures have released two albums in their career:
- Beautiful Creatures (2000)
- Deuce (2005)
Four years ago, Deuce was remastered and re-released as Deuce Deluxe, which we covered at the time, especially when they also released a brand-new song, “Get You High.”
Beautiful Creatures officially stopped performing in 2009, but reunited in 2017 around the time of the Deuce reissue, featuring the lineup of Joe Lesté (vocals), Alex Grossi (guitar), Anthony Focx (guitar), Kenny Kweens (bass), and Timmy Russel (drums).
