Tuk Smith and The Restless Hearts “Take The Long Way” – New Song and Video
Tuk Smith and The Restless Hearts released a new song titled “Take The Long Way” accompanied with a video via Golden Robot Records.
Tuk Smith, for those who may not know, was a part of Atlanta, Georgia’s band Biters, active throughout the 2010s. After announcing an indefinite hiatus, Tuk started his own solo band that continues to rock hard to this day. Always somewhat of a rock ‘n’ roll outcast, not to mention the problems with Motley Crue before the start of the Stadium Tourr, he stayed in the business despite all of that, hitting harder than ever.
Anyway, musically speaking, these are catchy and solid rocker in the style of 70’s rock. Stones meets glam rock bands like T-Rex, done with a modern touch and feel. So, if you’re into that, check out their latest album too, ‘Ballad Of A Misspent Youth,’ released in 2022.”
C Squared Music‘s press release indicates in part:
“”Take the Long Way” is a spirited sing-along rock anthem. It draws inspiration from Smith‘s turbulent experience of not only being kicked off the 2021 Motley Crue Stadium tour, but also being dropped from both his label and booking agent amid the COVID era. The track encapsulates the classic self-sabotage meets redemption tale.”
