This is the second single from the upcoming solo album “The Billy Morrison Project” from the former Billy Idol and The Cult guitarist. The release date of this album is April 19 2024.
This project features a diverse range of collaborations with notable artists such as Ozzy Osbourne, Billy Idol, DMC, Al Jourgensen, Steve Vai, Steve Stevens, Linda Perry, and others. The album’s first single, titled “Drowning,” addresses themes related to information overload and negative influences, inspired by Morrison’s personal experience with excessive media consumption.
The creation process of The Morrison Project began organically during the COVID-19 pandemic while working with producers Erik Eldenius and Jeordie White. Collaborating with these musicians led to experimenting with various genres, ultimately resulting in a unique collection of tracks that feature Morrison’s friends.
