Buy Me A Coffee and I ‘ll Review Your Song or Album!
Every day when I open my email inbox, I’m flooded with messages from various labels, record companies, or promoters asking for the reviews of songs, albums, and other releases by the bands they represent. As much as I love music and would like to accommodate everyone, it’s simply impossible to keep up with it all. We live in an era of hyperproduction, and it’s challenging enough to stay in step with mainstream happenings, let alone with the many emerging new bands. In the end, I’m just an ordinary person with only two ears and two hands, so I simply can’t manage everything.
Therefore, I have a suggestion. If you’d like me to prioritize a review for one of your bands, you could consider “buying me a coffee in return”. Let’s think of it this as a form of support. I love listening to music and writing about it, but while I do, I enjoy sipping a cup of coffee, sometimes even a beer. The time it takes to do a review generally aligns with the time to enjoy this drink. This way, you’d support the website. And if you believe that the band you’re representing is truly worth that coffee, we’d all win. Wouldn’t we?
If you’d like to buy me a coffee, you can do so via the Buy Me A Coffee button or through PayPal. BUT! before we get to that, you need to contact me via email. Send me the song or album, as I need to check it out first before taking on the review. I get all sorts of things in my inbox, but Junkyard is a website that mainly focuses on rock music. Don’t expect me to review symphonic black death metal or something like that because I don’t listen to or enjoy it, and the review would not be real —and trust me, I get way too many emails like that.
So here is what I suggest:
If you want a Song Review – one coffee
If you want an Album Review – two coffees
What you’ll get is a in depth review of the song or album, a place on the Junkyard Rock Vibes Spotify playlist, promotion to the dedicated Junkyard fanbase across multiple platforms like Facebook, Instagram, X, Reddit, WhatsUp, Telegram and TikTok. Being on Junkyard also gives you the opportunity to be featured in more different articles in the future such are lists, stories and more.
Genres with high probability to be covered are: sleaze/glam and hair metal, hard rock, new wave of classic rock, modern rock and hard rock, grunge rock, punk rock, nu-gen artists and a bit of traditional heavy metal. But we don’t want genres to dictate us what to do. Let’s get in touch and see what we can do!
