Why Is Slash Playing in Front of a Church Again?
If you thought 1991 was happening all over again—think twice! No, this isn’t a time warp to November Rain and that iconic moment of Slash shredding in front of a lonely desert church. Fast forward 34 years, and the scene has taken a darker twist. The church is engulfed in flames and the setting – it’s deep, deep in the underworld.
So, you are probably asking now: what’s the story? The answer is pretty simple: it’s Dorothy, American rock ‘n’ roll heroine who just dropped the video for Tombstone Town (Underworld)—a brooding, country infused rock anthem where none other than Slash himself steps in as an ominous undertaker. The track is the latest single from The Way, Dorothy’s upcoming fourth album, set to drop on March 14.

Several scenes from the Tombstone Town video resemble scenes from the iconic November Rain. Check out in the video below.
And here’s a little rock trivia for you—this isn’t the first time Dorothy and Slash have joined forces. Fans might remember her vocals on Key to the Highway, a standout from Slash’s 2024 blues album, Orgy of the Damned.
