Rock Legend Billy Idol Drops New Single “Still Dancing” – We React!

Rock legend Billy Idol is set to release his first full-length album of new music in over a decade. The album, titled Dream Into It, will be available on April 25 through Dark Horse Records / BMG. The record features special guest appearances by Avril Lavigne, Joan Jett, and Alison Mosshart of The Kills.

Ahead of the album’s release, Idol has debuted a new single, “Still Dancing.” The song reflects on his journey through music, from his punk rock beginnings to his success today.

“Still Dancing’ is really a reflection of my whole journey,” Idol says. “From the punk rock period through to now. And I’m still looking towards the future, still living the life I set out to live.”

Idol recalls his early days in London, living in squats and carrying his belongings in a plastic bag. Despite being told his music career would never happen, punk rock gave him an opportunity. He was surrounded by people who shared his passion for music and took a chance on his dreams.

The song also touches on moments of self-destruction along the way. However, Idol credits his unwavering belief in music for carrying him through the years. “That’s been the greatest gift of all,” he says.

Dream Into It is highly anticipated by fans and marks a significant moment in Idol’s career. We also did a reaction video to “Still Dancing,” sharing thoughts in our unique way. Be sure to check it out!
