Dogma Guitarist Lamia Spills Some Secrets – “We Got It from Glam Rock”
LAMIA FROM DOGMA TALKS SEXY STAGE LOOKS, GLAM INFLUENCES + MORE ON RADIO FUTURO
DOGMA just blew the roof off Europe with their “Sinning Over Europe” tour with Patriarch —and guess what? They’re not even close to done. Latin America’s next in line for the chaos.
In the middle of all the chaos, guitarist Lamia sat down with Chilean Radio Futuro and dropped some gems. Loads of cool stuff in there, but one bit really hit different.
She got asked about the band’s ultra-sexy stage outfits—and here’s where it gets juicy.
“The makeup just comes from other previous glam rock bands that inspired us,” Lamia said, pointing out how strong visuals are a core part of Dogma’s whole deal. Not just the sound—but the look, the feel, the vibe.
Now, they’ve mentioned their love for ‘80s music before in previous interviews. Honestly, that’s not a surprise —Dogma oozes that glam sleaze energy weather you see it or not. But now we’re really left hanging—which bands exactly fired up their style? Was it some Sunset Strip chaos like Mötley or Ratt? Or something darker, glammier, more underground like W.A.S.P. ?
We don’t know yet—but we’re dying to find out.
For now, you’ll have to dig into the full interview yourself. Lamia’s got more to say, and Dogma’s just getting warmed up. P.S. Check out Lamia’s accent!
