Guns N’ Roses Live in Riyadh Report – Two Old Deep Cuts Debuted

Concert number 7 of Guns N’ Roses’ ongoing tour with the ridiculously long name is currently taking place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia — marking the band’s first-ever performance there. The place is Mohammed Abdu Arena.

The biggest question fans are asking online is whether the band will play Riyadh N’ The Bedouins, a track from the Chinese Democracy era that has never been performed live. It’s highly unlikely — but with Guns N’ Roses, you never know. Chinese Democracy was not played first time since 2001.

Street Of Dreams was played on soundcheck. Double Talkin Jive was played late in the set which was not the case on previous concerts. My Michelle and You’re Crazy debuted on this tour, and both were played very late in the set.

Axl spoke during Knockin On Heavens Door: ” How are you hanging? I really appreciate this indoor venue. It’s very considering”.

Axl sang Sweet Child wrongly: started with wrong verse at the beginning & and at the end of the second verse he switched to the first one.

During the concert, many reports came in about whether the song Chinese Democracy was played or not. In the end, it turned out that it wasn’t. The reason is still unknown. In any case, this small “incident” makes the concert in Riyadh all the more significant. It will go down in history as a concert without a single Chinese Democracy song in the setlist — practically the first time since 1993.
