Yeah, you heard me right. Forty. Freakin’. Years.
Back on this day in 1985, GNR hit the stage for the very first time in the lineup — Axl, Slash, Izzy, Duff, and Steven. The place was-Troubadour, Los Angeles. June 6th. A gig that cracked the pavement and rewrote rock history.
Flash forward to today — June 6th, 2025 — and the band’s in Portugal, tearing it up in Coimbra.
Lately, fans have been buzzing. Rumors have been flying around. And it’s all about new music? A surprise drop for the 40th maybe? It’s a Friday, after all. But… nothing. Silence. Well, Axl haven’t seen any marketing plan right? Screw you marketing department and labels!
Looks like we’re not getting that golden anniversary gift — at least not today. Maybe it’s delayed. Maybe it’s smoke and mirrors.
But whatever.
