Crashdïet Dig Up Their Wild 2005 Commercial – Bulldozers, Wrecked Cars and Sleaze
Do you remember when Crashdïet used to film commercials? No? Good! Because that’s exactly what the guys decided to remind us of. Back in 2005, Crashdïet filmed a commercial for the Swedish phone company 3 Sverige, and the whole thing took place in Malaysia.
2005, you say? Oh yes. Here you can see the guys demolishing a car, or Dave Leppard driving a bulldozer straight into an orange car.
It’s cool and unique. I wish more bands would do stuff like this today, ’cause why the hell not? Now, go and check out the commercial down in the videos.
All these returns to the past come in honor of the album Rest In Sleaze, which this year celebrates 20 years since its release, while the band is preparing for a show in Stockholm on September 19, where the anniversary of this phenomenal record that marked an entire era and paved the way for a new wave of sleaze rock in the mid-2000s will be celebrated.
