Crashdïet Sign with Ninetone, Reunite with The Unattractive Revolution Producer for New Album

Swedish sleaze rock veterans Crashdïet have officially signed with Ninetone Records and are back in the studio crafting their next chapter with producer Patrik Frisk, who helmed their 2007 sophomore album The Unattractive Revolution.

The current lineup—Martin Sweet (guitar), Peter London (bass), John Elliot (vocals), and Michael Sweet (drums)—is gearing up for what promises to be a high-voltage return. This move also marks the arrival of Jesper Lindgren as the band’s new manager, rounding out a fresh and focused team.

Ninetone shared the news with high anticipation, declaring:

“Crashdïet is back in the studio with none other than Patrik Frisk. Together, we’ve got big plans that are bound to shake the rock world to its core.”

Back in April, guitarist Martin Sweet revealed in an interview for the upcoming Mayhem Festival that the band has nearly completed work on the new album.

“It’s a sleazier and rougher album this time,” Martin said, promising big riffs and that unmistakable Crashdïet sound.

This will be the band’s first release with newly appointed frontman John Elliot, and their first new material since 2022’s Automaton.
