Erik Grönwall Launches Solo Era with Statement Show in Stockholm

Erik Grönwall kicked off his long-awaited solo tour in Stockholm’s Circus club on May 25. With his debut solo album behind him, decades of experience from bands H.E.A.T and Skid Row, and a completely new lineup, Erik launched his own live campaign in a fierce and stylish way.

Covered in body paint of questionable tones, as if he had just stepped out of the murky water from the “Praying For The Miracle” video, Erik and his crew blasted through 16 songs, if this Setlist.fm list is to be believed. The set included covers of Deep Purple, Black Sabbath, and Alannah Myles, along with expected material from H.E.A.T and Skid Row. Rest of the set-list was filed songs from the album Bad Bones, still fresh considering it had only been out worldwide for four days.

Take a look at the setlist and the footage once again provided by the legendary ConcertzRock (give them a follow) and see for yourself what awaits if you manage to catch this show somewhere. Maybe even tonight, May 26, when another round hits Stockholm’s Circus.
