HIM: The 10 Most Played Songs in Their Live History

Considering the growing rumors that HIM might reunite next year, a long-awaited comeback we firmly believe in and hope will happen, it’s time to take a look back and see which HIM songs have been performed live the most over the years.

As we’ve done several times before, our best friend once again is Setlist.fm. It’s something you can absolutely check out for yourselves, but there’s nothing wrong with us reminding you this way, right?

Keep in mind that this is a fan-based website where users can enter and edit show information, so it might not be 100% accurate, but it’s the best data we have. It gives us a decent insight into what songs HIM has played the most throughout their career, and of course, this could all change in the future…

Just a quick reminder before we start: HIM performed under that name for the last time on December 21, 2017, at the legendary Tavastia Club in Helsinki.

Let’s take a look now and we will discuss the “possible” changes later. Here are the Top 10 most played Ghost songs live per today.

10.The Funeral Of Hearts – played 427 times

9.Wings Of a Butterfly – played 437 times

8.It’s All Tears (Drown In This Love) – played 438 times

7.Soul On Fire – played 475 times

6.Poison Girl – played 524 times

5.Buried Alive By Love – played 536 times

4.Your Sweet 666 – played 616 times

3.Join Me In Death – played 652 times

2.Right Here In My Arms – played 665 times

1.Wicked Game – played 690 times

What can change in the future?

Can this list change in any way in the future? Of course, it will mostly depend on whether the band returns and actually does a reunion or not. Since we’ve already said we believe it will happen, here are some hypothetical possible changes:

  • The first four songs will probably remain the same. Those are the band’s biggest hits, and it’s hard to imagine them not being played in the future.
  • The same goes for songs ranked from 6 to 10. At number 11 we have the song The Sacrament, which is trailing The Funeral of Hearts by an unreachable 83 performances.
  • Your Sweet 666 needs to be played exactly 50 more times to reach, of course, the number 666.
  • From position 18 downward, we can already expect some changes. This spot is currently held by the cover Rebel Yell with 187 performances, followed by mega hits like Pretending, Gone With the Sin, Vampire Heart, as well as many other songs the band could bring back on a reunion tour. You can see the full list here.

And will that tour happen? As we said, we believe it will and we’ll be watching closely to keep you updated on everything!
