New Music on the Horizon for Quiet Riot, Says Bassist Rudy Sarzo

Quiet Riot bassist Rudy Sarzo has recently shared some insights about the band’s plans for new music in an interview with The Metal Voice. Speaking at this year’s “Rock For Ronnie” concert in Los Encinos Park, Sarzo explained that the band’s current strategy is to release one song at a time instead of recording a whole album.

According to Sarzo, the band has at least two albums worth of material to play live, with Metal Health and Condition Critical being the setlist staples. The bassist pointed out that with such a vast repertoire of classic songs, it’s challenging to pick only a few tracks from a new album to include in the setlist.

“So why record a whole album, if we’re just gonna play one song? So right now, it’s one song at a time. We have songs in the can already, and it’s just a matter of finding the right time to release them,” Sarzo explained.
