Mötley Crüe Is Back on the Sunset Strip: What We Know So Far?

Mötley Crüe is officially back on the Sunset Strip, as they announced it: “Attention Los Angeles, we are returning to where it all started.”

According to Billboard, the band has announced three shows at three legendary venues in Los Angeles, as previously rumored. But that’s not all—there’s even more exciting news related to the famous rockers.

Here’s what we know so far:

  • Under the code name “Höllywood Takeöver,” Mötley Crüe announced shows at the Troubadour (October 7), The Roxy (October 9), and Whisky A Go Go (October 11).
  • Ticket sales start on Saturday, September 14, and will be available exclusively at the box offices of the three clubs. Tickets will be sold as hard copies only, with a limit of two per person.
  • The shows were previously teased with an old school flyer campaign.
  • These three shows will support the upcoming EP titled Cancelled, which is set to be released on October 4. The EP will include three songs: “Dogs of War,” “Fight for Your Right,” and “Cancelled.”
  • The band is also opening a pop-up store with exclusive band-curated merch at the legendary Rainbow Bar & Grill on the Sunset Strip from October 6 to October 12. The shop will be open daily from 3 PM to 12 AM PST.
  • On October 8 the band will host a charity dinner at the Rainbow with proceeds benefitting Covenant House – one of the homeless organization they are partnering with.
  • In addition to all of that, the band will also release a previously announced Limited Edition Box Set Celebrating 35th Anniversary of Dr. Feelgood.

All in all, whether you love them right now or not, Mötley Crüe is definitely prepared for the upcoming fall in terms of news and new releases.
