He Launches A Website Now? – Axl Rose Goes Old School (Hard Skool?)

Axl Rose has launched his own official website. The main tagline of the website says, ‘You gotta learn to live and run, or you’ll die trying.’

For now, there isn’t much to see except a gallery of pictures of him and an ‘About’ section that states: Born William Bruce Rose Jr. on February 6, 1962, in Lafayette, Indiana, Axl rose to fame as the lead vocalist and primary songwriter of Guns N’ Roses, a band that rose to prominence in the late 1980s with their debut album ‘Appetite for Destruction’.”

Okay, so what is the purpose of this?

I mean, websites are still present, but people mostly use their social media accounts to communicate with their audience, right? Especially famous persons. But in the case of Axl Rose, things are not always as we would expect them to be. Yes, he has some social media accounts where he communicates, for example, his Twitter/X account, where he posts from time to time when he has something to say. But other than that, he is very quiet and private about these things.

So, maybe, just maybe, and this is just my speculation, he decided to go old school (hard skool?) and: make a website and post news and things like in the old days, and not worry about the millions of comments that people are going to leave there.

So, this might actually be a good thing. Maybe he will announce new GnR music on this website. Or jsut some other exclusive content. You never know. We just need to wait and see.

And yes, you can “drag him” around the website too. Try and check the Axl Rose website here.
