At Least He Can Still Sing
At least someone from the greater Bon Jovi universe can still sing, and that’s, of course, Richie Sambora. Richie Sambora took the stage with Kings Of Chaos on August 1 at Agua Caliente Casino in Rancho Mirage, California and nailed couple of legendary Bon Jovi tunes.
After all the Madison Square Garden difficulties Jon Bon Jovi has had, along with all the ex-Twitter, now X, drama surrounding Richie Sambora’s hacked accounts and occasional harsh tweets, one thing we know for sure is that Richie can still damn well sing those songs. The fan-recorded videos of “Wanted Dead Or Alive” and “I’ll Be There For You” prove it.
Kings Of Chaos are, of course, the all-star band created by ex-Guns N’ Roses, Velvet Revolver and The Cult legend Matt Sorum. And that night, believe it or not, both former Bon Jovi axeman Richie Sambora and current guitarist Phil X shared the stage that night!
The Kings Of Chaos lineup that night featured Richie Sambora (Bon Jovi), Jack Blades (Night Ranger), Kevin Cronin (REO Speedwagon) and Glenn Hughes (Deep Purple), with Steve Stevens (Billy Idol) and Phil X (Bon Jovi) on guitar, Mike Mangan (The Cult) on keyboards, and Eliot Lorango (Dorothy) on bass.
The rest is history.
