Styles & Storms Bring Heart Throb Mob Back Into The Spotlight
Heart Throb Mob are back in the spotlight thanks to Styles & Storms, who have released a cover of Rumor, one of the best and most recognizable songs of the 90s glam era and underground bubble-glam Sunset Strip scene.
With only one song, they achieved the impossible by bringing Heart Throb Mob to a new generation of fans and cementing themselves as a new force in today’s hair and glam metal world. That unbelievable fact is what led us down a true 90s/00s glam metal rabbit hole in our newest video, exploring how Styles & Storms managed to achieve all that.
But that’s not all. In this video, we also explore the legacy of Lonny Lovett, the singer of Heart Throb Mob, as well as his other bands such as Lynam and Tilterworld. We also look at the connections between bands like Beautiful Creatures, Peppermint Creeps and Adler’s Appetite, and Heart Throb Mob and two of their most notable members, Traci Michaelz and Lonny Lovett. And at the end, you can hear one idea we came up with during the video!
Fun fact: Did you know that Traci Michaelz was selling CDs of Heart Throb Mob’s Hit List from 1993 and Eat Your Heart Out from 1995 at Peppermint Creeps concerts during the 2000s? They were essentially bootleg editions, although considering that he actually played on those albums, they weren’t exactly bootlegs either.
