Gun “All Fired Up” – New Song and Lyric Video

Scottish rock veterans GUN are set to make a triumphant return with their ninth studio album, “Hombres,” slated for release on 12th of April 2024 through Cooking Vinyl. Their first original music since 2017’s “Favourite Pleasures,” the album promises a rejuvenated sound with new full-time guitarist Ru Moy. The band has unveiled the infectious single “All Fired Up,” accompanied by a official lyric video, giving fans a taste of what’s to come.

This song marks the third single from the upcoming album “Hombres” that we had a chance to hear so far after the songs “Take Me Back Home” and “Boy’s Don’t Cry”. The album is produced by Simon Bloor and mixed by Daryl Thorpe, “Hombres” features guest vocalists Beverley Skeete, Mary Pearce, and Sarah-Jane Skeete, along with drummer Joe Lazerus of Twin Atlantic.

2024 also holds significance for GUN as they celebrate the 30th anniversary of their third album, “Swagger.” Released in 1994, “Swagger” soared to #5 on the UK album chart, earning silver certification and spawning four UK Top 40 singles, including their hit cover of Cameo’s “Word Up.”
