Crazy Lixx Are Back On Instagram After Account Hack
Crazy Lixx have regained control of their official Instagram account after it was recently compromised by hackers.
The Swedish hard rockers are now back on the platform, restoring their usual social media presence after an unexpected interruption that left fans without access to the band’s official profile.
The incident is another reminder of how vulnerable even established music acts can be to social media account takeovers, particularly when Instagram has become an important channel for communicating with fans, sharing announcements and promoting upcoming shows. Or in other words, we all are vulnerable as actors in cyber world.
Crazy Lixx have not yet provided a detailed public explanation of how the breach happened or who was responsible. For now, the important news is that the band have recovered their account and are back where fans expect to find them.
As for other band-related news, it’s also worth mentioning that they recently released another new UST (Unofficial Soundtrack) video, this time for In The Night, a song from their 2024 compilation Two Shots At Glory. The video features footage from the legendary 1984 film The Terminator.
