Ghost Dig Up “It’s a Sin” From the Vault (We React)
Ghost have finally released “It’s a Sin” on streaming platforms. It’s a song from the album Prequelle that could previously only be found on deluxe editions and had never before been available for streaming. Of course, when it comes to official channels. And yes, it’s a cover of the Pet Shop Boys song, in case you didn’t know.
It all started on January 16, when Cardi C announced in Chapter 24 that, unlike V (Papa Perpetua), he has the right to release cover songs, so it was decided that this track from the era of his reign would finally be officially sanctioned.
And there is a video too. What can one say. Cardi C is a sad man, one might say. Windows 98 is still his operating system of choice, and the software he uses to make music videos is also questionable.
All in all, it was a good opportunity to do another reaction video, even though I don’t really rush to do those when it comes to cover songs. This time, an exception simply had to be made because 1) it’s Ghost after all and 2) the Skeletoour tour kicks off in just a few days.
In the end, I can’t help but mention one very interesting thing that can be observed here. Namely, it seems that these days everyone is angry and furious at streaming services and can’t wait to escape from them, cancel their subscriptions, and start buying cassettes and CDs. And then something like this happens and the entire internet celebrates: “Yay, we finally got this song to listen to on streaming.” Strange, isn’t it?
