Thirty-five years after forming, Finland’s dark rock legends, The 69 Eyes, made a long-awaited debut at Wacken Open Air 2024, delivering a midnight performance on the W:EStage. Captured in a pro-shot video, their set included fan-favorite anthems “Brandon Lee,” “Dance D’Amour,” and “Lost Boys,” bringing a haunting, atmospheric energy to the iconic metal festival.
Speaking of studio activity, The 69 Eyes released a single back in March 2024 titled Fade To Grey, in collaboration with legendary American songwriter Diane Warren. The year prior, the band released their latest full-length album, the 13th in their long career, Death of Darkness.
